Job Overview

Create your future and excel as a customer service professional in our Maryborough branch.

This role will challenge you to create a welcoming experience for every customer. You will engage in meaningful conversations to understand their needs, utilise your knowledge of financial products to support their holistic banking requirements and address everyday queries. By referring customers to relevant specialists, you will provide tailored support and guidance.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting with banking transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals
  • Educate customers on digital platforms such as online banking and mobile apps
  • Identify opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing through targeted solutions

This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week across Monday to Friday. No banking experience? No problem. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed from day one.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Customer Service Experience: ideally in a customer-facing environment
  • Numerical Skills: proficiency in handling cash and accuracy when completing financial transactions
  • Personality: an energetic and empathetic approach coupled with a genuine passion for helping others
  • Resilience: ability to remain calm under pressure whilst handling challenging situations
  • Adaptability: a willingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
