Job Title: Maintenance Specialist
">We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of the hotel's maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean, safe and well-maintained.
">- Ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and team members by identifying and addressing potential hazards;
- Assisting with guest needs to ensure their satisfaction and comfort throughout their stay;
- Maintaining and ordering parts and supplies while minimising waste and promoting sustainability;
- Performing minor repairs of non-gas or non-electrical kitchen equipment and understanding air conditioning principles;
- Minor plumbing, carpentry and painting work, including changing light globes and maintaining in-house television and movie systems;
- Minor bathroom repairs.
Requirements:
">- Full working rights in Australia without restrictions;
- Some college or advanced vocational training preferred;
- Experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Certifications including Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required;
- Passion for providing luxury experiences and going above and beyond to personalise guest stays;
- Ongoing availability to work flexibly as rostered, including nights, weekends and public holidays;
- Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene;
- An organised approach, ability to handle large amounts of information at once and deal with various requests simultaneously;
- Physical fitness, as you'll be on your feet most of the day and sometimes need to lift, push and pull objects up to 23 kg.
