Job Opportunity in Intensive Care Medicine

This is a temporary position within the Intensive Care Unit at a leading hospital. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Specialist Intensive Care Physicians to manage critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patients requiring intensive care, those at risk of clinical deterioration, and pre- and post-intensive care evaluation.
  • Participate in training programs for enhancing clinical expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to share information and provide patient care.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional clinical skills, judgment, and expertise in a complex clinical environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification currently registered with the medical board of Australia.
  • Adept ability to work independently and collaboratively within a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in Intensive Care Medicine.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
