We seek a visionary leader to spearhead our academic programmes in Media, Film and Journalism.
About the Role- The Professor and Head of School will provide strategic leadership to the School of Media, Film and Journalism, driving innovation and excellence in education, research and community engagement.
- Liaise with staff and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative educational programmes that foster student success and satisfaction.
- Promote research excellence and collaborations within the School and across Monash University, positioning MFJ as a leading institution in its field.
- Foster strong industry partnerships, advancing the profile and reputation of MFJ through research, community engagement and knowledge transfer.
- Develop and implement strategies to decolonise research and teaching, ensuring diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of academic life.

- Collaborate with dynamic academics, researchers and practitioners to drive innovation and impact in Media, Film and Journalism.
