Job Overview

The Food Service Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus.
  • Take Orders: Describe menu items accurately, answer questions, and take orders correctly, noting special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and present them according to standard.
  • Check on Guests: Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything needed and address any concerns.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the area clean and well-organized, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
  • Handle Payments: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately.
  • Upsell and Promote: Suggest additional menu items or beverages to enhance the guests' experience.
  • Handle Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper food handling and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
