Our esteemed client is seeking a dedicated and visionary Academic Leader to join their team in Melbourne.

About the Role

The successful candidate will design and implement contemporary pedagogical practices aligned with the AITSL Professional Standards, guide student growth in both academic and personal domains, and contribute meaningfully to the school's continuous improvement priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons across multiple classes.
  • Employ inclusive assessment and reporting methods to track student progress.
  • Model exemplary classroom management and foster positive student relationships.
  • Engage in collaborative curriculum development and data-driven instruction.
  • Participate in Parent/Teacher nights and maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to pastoral care, house activities, and faith-formation initiatives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success as a secondary teacher with strong classroom management skills.
  • Contemporary pedagogical skills meeting diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administrative abilities.
  • Proven capacity to work within a collaborative decision-making structure.
  • Strong commitment to Marist spirituality, Catholic ethos, and child safety.
