Overview

We're seeking a skilled Quantitative Systematic Trader to join our team at SIG. As a hybrid of trading, technology, and quantitative research, you'll be responsible for developing new electronic strategies and monitoring real-time performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate ideas by immersing yourself in market data and leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming.
  • Run trading signals through our backtesting environment and analyze their performance.
  • Work with technologists to put trading strategies into production and monitor their real-time performance.
  • Collaborate with researchers, strategists, and traders to collect feedback and brainstorm new ideas.

Requirements

  • Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills and excellent logical reasoning.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience writing code to process and analyze large sets of data, especially in Python.
  • Demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
