Barbecue Specialist

Perth Barbecue School is a renowned institution that has been sharing its expertise in charcoal cooking for several years. As a new team member, you will be responsible for assisting with classes and prep work, as well as maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across all food surfaces and premises.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with classes and prepare students for barbecue sessions
• Cook meat and manage fires to achieve optimal results
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene
• Retail store operation, including stocking shelves and making sales
• Order stock and manage inventory effectively
• Provide expert advice and guidance to customers
• Assist with content creation and develop engaging materials
• Share knowledge and passion for barbecue with clients and customers

Requirements:

• Experience with charcoal barbecue cooking from either a professional or hobby standpoint
• Retail experience is favorable but not essential
• Hospitality experience is also desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
