Key Role in Mine Planning

A highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer is required to lead the mine planning team and ensure long-term viability of our operations.

About the Job

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive mine plans to optimise life of mine and meet production and cost objectives.
  • Contribute to forecasting and mining schedule development for underground teams.
  • Collaborate with geologists and senior planners to develop and rank multiple mining strategies.
  • Present quarterly life-of-mine plan and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Mine Planning: Undertake short, medium- and long-term planning activities.
  • Mine Design: Develop mine designs for geological block models.
  • Financial Management: Update mining costs quarterly, based on actuals on a 12-month rolling average.

Requirements

  • Qualified Mining Engineer degree.
  • 10 years' relevant experience in mining industry.
  • WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate desirable.
