Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Environment Approvals Advisor to join our team. As an Advisor – Environment Approvals, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and implementation of approvals for the Perth Airport Estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage approvals documentation.
  • Coordinate environmental impact assessments.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Contribute to the development of management plans and ensure timely delivery of approvals to support development projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key regulators, stakeholders, tenants, and community groups.
  • SUPPORT community briefing and advisory events.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve environmental and heritage objectives.
  • Evaluate risks and controls regularly.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in an Environmental field, or tertiary qualifications in Planning or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and across multiple disciplines and managing stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in delivering environmental impact assessments, management plans, and compliance reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to produce detailed reports.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and application of State and Federal Environmental legislation.
  • Experience in coordinating the approvals and post-approval process for infrastructure projects.
