We are seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems Australia.
About the OpportunityThis role will be responsible for scheduling and analysing the aircraft build and maintenance process to ensure timely delivery while facilitating clear reporting and communication among key stakeholders.
You will work closely with the planning manager to identify and report operational risk, constraints and abnormalities, ensuring these are communicated in a timely manner to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain is required for this role. Further information regarding security clearances can be found on our website.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain cost and schedule baselines.
- Report, schedule and progress abnormalities to the planning manager that may jeopardise delivery dates.
- Liaise with team leaders as required to determine the most effective and cost-effective method of production.
- Proficient in computerised project scheduling systems (preferred).
- Effective communicator with the ability to convey information clearly and efficiently.
