Job Title

About the Role: We are seeking a Supervised Contact Worker to support children and young people in foster care. You will facilitate family time sessions, provide mentoring in various settings, and maintain accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safe and meaningful family time sessions for children and young people.
  • Provide guidance and support to children and young people across a variety of settings.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families and carers.
  • Prepare and submit written updates, reports, and case documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent high-quality support.
  • Respond to complex situations professionally and exercise sound judgment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Report writing and documentation skills, with experience using software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to work non-standard hours.
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Australian Driver's Licence.
