Lead the Network Aviation training and checking team
As the Head of Training and Checking, you will be responsible for leading our aircraft and simulator checking and training team. Your goal will be to ensure that we are providing the airline with exceptionally well-trained pilots across our fleet, to high industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver training, checking, and testing activities to ensure they are safe, efficient, effective, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Work closely with the wider Qantas team to enable and influence relevant stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives for Network Aviation's Training and Checking Organisation.
- Manage a range of different projects and competing priorities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years operational line pilot experience operating in a High Capacity RPT and/or Charter operation.
- Ability to satisfy CASA in accordance with CASA regulatory requirements for the Network AOC Head of Training and Checking.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and engage a diverse range of people through communication and leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulatory framework.
- Ability to drive and manage change function within a multi-function environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Airline safety, assurance, and quality systems knowledge.
