Data Scientist for Predictive Analytics

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team at Mediabrands Australia.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions that aim to deliver measurable value to our clients' businesses. This role involves working with machine learning, mathematics, and other techniques to develop industry-leading technical expertise.
In this role, you will support the delivery of data solutions, including writing scripts for ETL and data harmonisation, setting up platform integrations and data pipelines, and working within data clean rooms.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data management and quantitative analytics, with an emphasis on marketing mix modeling, advanced analytics, and forecasting analysis.
You will also be required to write scripts and pull data from multiple platforms, often requiring the harmonisation of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-party data sources.
Key responsibilities include building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, analysing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns, setting up platform integrations and data pipelines, and working within data clean rooms.
Presentation skills using data visualisation techniques are also essential.
We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical individual with a graduate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
A strong understanding of machine-learning and operations research is required, as well as experience in R, SQL, Python, and Excel.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience preferred.
