Job Opportunity: AOD Counsellor Case Manager

Lives Lived Well is seeking a skilled AOD Counsellor Case Manager to join our team in Gladstone. As a key member of our team, you will provide non-judgmental support and counsel to individuals affected by alcohol and other drugs, helping them manage their dependency and related issues.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client-centred support and conduct assessments to develop personalised recovery plans.
  • Work with clients to address complex issues, including mental health, domestic and family violence, homelessness, and financial concerns.
  • Conduct face-to-face appointments, stakeholder engagement, events, and online meetings with staff for case conferences and supervision.
  • Undertake travel to support clients at other locations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related health services discipline.
  • Previous experience working with clients facing AOD issues.
  • Applied knowledge of contemporary evidence-based AOD counselling practice, case management, intake, and assessment.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Highly developed communication and community engagement skills.
