About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Endorsed Midwife to join our team at our Gold Coast Private Hospital Clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing professional and personalized antenatal and postnatal care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct antenatal and postnatal consultations in accordance with our Obstetric Care Model
• Develop your skills in antenatal care, working with high-risk and simple pregnancies alike
• Write referrals and conduct necessary investigations
• Work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team
• Perform internal procedures such as membrane sweeps/internal examinations
• Manage postnatal wounds
• Provide breastfeeding education
• Vaccine and Cold Chain Management; including administration of vaccines and vitamins injections for antenatal patients

About You:

• You will have 3+ years' experience in a midwifery setting
• Have a current AHPRA registration
• Have a Bachelor of Nursing & Graduate Diploma in Midwifery or Bachelor of Midwifery
• Have obtained Endorsement and met NBMA requirements for prescribing scheduled medicines and associated midwifery services (or close to attaining this)
• Have the ability to work autonomously with initiative within a team setting with patient outcomes in the forefront of mind
• Have exceptional communication skills which can be adapted to engage with all patients and internal stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Have a positive and team-oriented work ethic
• Current CPR certification
• Current Police Check
