We are seeking a highly skilled safety and security professional to fill a critical role in our Protective Security Services Branch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security management systems that meet client and company requirements. This involves conducting audits, risk/threat assessments, and compliance workshops against industry standards such as ISO, PSPF, DSPF, and DISP.

As a trusted point of contact for clients, the ideal candidate will manage Statements of Work, address emerging issues, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to identify and manage risks in line with our Risk Management Framework and contribute to business development and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Management System Development: Develop and implement security management systems that meet client and company requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits, risk/threat assessments, and compliance workshops against industry standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, managing Statements of Work and addressing emerging issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks in line with our Risk Management Framework.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Security Clearance: Current Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 minimum) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to Ethical Standards: Commitment to company values and ethical standards.
  • DSPF, DISP, and PSPF Experience: Demonstrated experience with DSPF, DISP, and PSPF.
  • Security Qualifications: Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management, Defence Security Officer Course qualification, and relevant state/territory security licence.
  • Additional Qualifications: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and advanced security qualifications.
