We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Information & System Data Specialist to join our team at SSE plc. As an Asset Information & System Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical knowledge for the operation and continuous improvement of our asset management related systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the construction of planned maintenance within IBM Maximo and the continuous development of the asset register.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the agreed quality standard.
  • Prepare all required data to ensure integrity and validation while developing, manipulating, and mapping final deliverable load files.
  • Ensure that all key milestones meet the data quality specifications required throughout projects and operations.
  • Monitor the performance of vendors and other direct suppliers in their contractual conformance with regard to data deliverables.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, with strong operational knowledge of Maximo.
  • Experience on ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) activities within IBM Maximo and from other systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver the day-to-day operation of the Enterprise Asset Management system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perceptive with an appreciation of the regulatory context that the data being delivered into our systems will be vital for working within a tightly regulated framework.
