We are seeking a Waste Management Assistant to join our team in Dandenong, VIC. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about working in waste management and recycling.

The role involves working on construction sites for a job site recycling company, separating materials (steel, timber, bricks etc) and loading the truck with the materials. You will then drive back to the recycling plant where you will unload the materials.

This is a full-time position, working 8 hour days, 5 days a week. There may be opportunities for overtime and weekend work.

As a Waste Management Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Separating materials at construction sites
  • Loading and driving trucks
  • Unloading materials at the recycling plant

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A White Card and full driver's license
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to lift and move heavy materials

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31.00-$31.01 per hour, plus travel reimbursement. We also offer opportunities for career progression and professional development.

In this role, you can expect to work:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts
  • Overtime and weekend work available

Please note that you must be willing to commute or relocate to Dandenong, VIC before starting work.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Order Picking Forklift Licence
  • White Card
  • Forklift Licence
  • Driver Licence
