Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Workers at Calvary Care. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs are met.

• Support Residents to Live Independently: Assist residents in maintaining their independence by supporting them in their daily activities, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
• Deliver Personal Care Services: Provide a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene, dressing, and continence management, ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort.
• Monitor and Report Changes: Identify and report any changes in residents' behavior, cognition, or physical attributes to the supervisor, ensuring timely interventions and support.
• Collaborate with the Care Team: Work closely with the Registered Nurse and other care staff to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.

• Certificate III in Individual Support: Hold a current Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Aged Care or Healthcare: Possess demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality, with a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of older adults.
• Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Working Knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control: Possess a working knowledge of workplace health and safety (WH&S) and infection control principles, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
