Job Role

The Mining Operations Technician will play a critical role in supporting the safe haulage of ore and waste rock at Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality and timely grading services, working collaboratively with the mining team to achieve production goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate graders safely to ensure the safe haulage of ore and waste rock.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with the mining team to achieve production goals and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide training and mentoring to other operators to increase their skills and knowledge.
About You:
  • At least 2 years' experience in Surface Mining operations operating a grader (16H).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the mining team to achieve production goals.
