About the Role

The successful applicant will manage and coordinate professional development and training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners across East Arnhem regions. This role is based in Nhulunbuy, working with primary health care sites in Groote Eylandt. Housing will be provided in Groote Eylandt when available.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage and coordinate professional development and training programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners
  • To work collaboratively with primary health care sites in Groote Eylandt
  • To provide support and guidance to Health Practitioners
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to Health Practitioner training
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Aboriginal Health Practitioners Class 5 qualification
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating professional development and training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
