Customer Service Representative Job Description

Brief Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their recycling needs and providing them with the correct refund.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to our customers by welcoming and assisting them with their recycling products.
  • Sorting and Handling: Sort recyclable items into their correct categories and transport them to the relevant storage area.
  • Cash Handling and Operations: Manage cash handling, operate equipment such as forklifts, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and report any hazards or faults to management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience is essential for this role.
  • Technical Skills: Excel and Outlook skills are required.
  • A Positive Attitude: A 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions.
