Sydney Local Health District is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Dental Officer to work in a full-time permanent role at the Marrickville Community Oral Health Clinic. The successful candidate will have excellent skills in general dentistry and sound evidence-based dental practice.
This position requires a leader who can provide patient and family centred holistic care, as well as clinical leadership within the oral health clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess full, unlimited registration as a dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have over 5 years of clinical experience.
The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care services. They will also be required to liaise with OHFFSS Service Providers when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing patient and family centred holistic care
- Leading the oral health clinical team
- Mentoring and practice oversight of Oral Health Therapists
- Liaising with OHFFSS Service Providers
