Ministry Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our Families Ministry in delivering its mission.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and facilitating youth, children's and young adults ministry, recruiting, training and engaging volunteers, participating in funding activities and pastoral care initiatives, fostering collaborative relationships with community groups and organisations.

This is a permanent part-time position, 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have the ability to offer pastoral assistance and explain Christian Gospel, experience in a Ministry position, a solid understanding of TSA Doctrines & Principles, and capacity to facilitate groups and one-to-one interactions.

• Key responsibilities include:

• Required skills and qualifications include:
  • Enrolled and active Soldier of the Salvation Army (preferred).
  • Commitment to Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army.
  • Ability to offer pastoral assistance and explain Christian Gospel.
  • Experience in a Ministry position (desirable).
  • Solid understanding of TSA Doctrines & Principles (desirable).
