Health and Safety Manager Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives at Port Macquarie Private Hospital, working closely with the National Safety Team and facility Executive Team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Embedding and maintaining safety management systems, templates, and documentation.
- Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
- Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
- Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
- Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
- Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
- A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills.
