School-based Traineeship in Plumbing with Reece Group at East Brisbane presents an exceptional opportunity for Year 10 students to gain valuable work experience and skills.

We are partnering with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd to offer a School–based Traineeship where you will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. The traineeship involves working in our Reece branch as well as completing certificate requirements, such as workbooks and on-the-job training and assessments.

This position is based at our East Brisbane location, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive team environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Embracing our company values, policies, and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the certificate
  • Processing sales
  • Managing stock effectively
  • Taking messages and orders over the phone
  • Communicating with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge
  • Following up with customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the branch

About You:

You will be required to work approximately one and a half days per week. Saturday availability is essential, and additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to support your progress.
