About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy support to patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees.
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines.
  • Prepare Best Possible Medication History lists for hospital inpatients.
  • Contribute to medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff.
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements.

Requirements:

  • You must be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian-based pharmacy.
  • Prior experience as a clinical pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • You should possess strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • You should be flexible and adaptable when working with a diverse team.
  • You should be committed to learning and continuous professional development.
  • You should value attention to detail and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
