About the Role:
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy support to patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees.
- Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines.
- Prepare Best Possible Medication History lists for hospital inpatients.
- Contribute to medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff.
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
- Coordinate patient medication requirements.
Requirements:
- You must be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian-based pharmacy.
- Prior experience as a clinical pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
- You should possess strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- You should be flexible and adaptable when working with a diverse team.
- You should be committed to learning and continuous professional development.
- You should value attention to detail and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
