SFH Academy seeks Teaching Artists who can lead digital illustration and animation classes for youth ages 9-14.

Our programs focus on using industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Wacom tablets, Toon Boom, and Adobe Animate.

As a Digital Art Instructor, you will provide top-notch educational activities for children. Your responsibilities will include organizing, instructing, and implementing safe, fun, and engaging activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of digital art programs
  • Instruct and implement engaging lesson plans in digital illustration and animation
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for children at all times
  • Assist with program events and classes as needed

Essential Requirements:

  • 6+ months of teaching experience working with children aged 7-14
  • Able to demonstrate and participate in the activity or skills being taught
  • Experience in graphic design programs such as Photoshop and 2D animation programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to build rapport with students
  • Professional experience working in the field of computer art, design, or animation
