Career Development Specialist

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Career Development Specialist to play a pivotal role in creating sustainable employment matches for individuals with intellectual disability.
This key position will combine case management with proactive employer engagement to drive inclusive employment outcomes and support our mission to empower people with intellectual disability to prepare for, gain and sustain meaningful open employment.
- This role requires building relationships with local employers, working one-on-one with participants, and maintaining accurate case notes.
- Employer Engagement: Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses to create job opportunities for individuals with intellectual disability.
- Case Management: Work closely with participants to understand their skills, interests, and career goals, and provide guidance on how to achieve them.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
