Job Title: Procurement and Contract Support Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contracts Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of contracts and procurement processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Support: Provide high-quality procurement support in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Contract Administration: Administer and maintain contract-related systems and centralised processes.
  • Help-Desk Function: Maintain the help-desk function for procurement, providing education and support through a first-contact point.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise purchase, service, and standing orders as required, checking invoice accuracy to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular reviews to compare items in stock and purchased with those on contracts, highlighting any discrepancies.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of changes in applicable government policies, targets, and commitments, best practice sourcing, and contract management.
  • Vaccination and Health: Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Tuberculosis Screening: Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
  • Declaration: Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
