Salary

The successful candidate will be offered an hourly rate of $27.93 - $28.23, plus 25% casual loading (WHA2).

Job Description

This position involves providing a timely, efficient, and effective catering, cleaning, and laundry service within the health unit. Responsibilities include general and special cleaning components of wards, resident, and patient care areas, doctors' accommodation, and other departments.

You will actively participate in ongoing job rotation through multi-skilling arrangements, such as catering assistant duties, delivery, collection, and disposal of linen and refuse as appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Prior experience in providing a catering service or in cleaning in a commercial or health environment will contribute to your success in this role. You must be independent, able to operate autonomously with minimal supervision, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
