Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join the Emergency Services Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist.

In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting early intervention strategies through initial assessment, review, and screening of presenting patients.

You will work closely with the Emergency Team to determine suitable therapy options to encourage and support the early and safe discharge of patients to their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure expertise is used to support early intervention strategies
  • Determine suitable therapy options for patients
  • Provide mentoring, teaching, and clinical development of other Allied Health Professionals
  • Contribute to the ongoing design and development of best practice standards in emergency care
