Job Opportunity in Geriatric Medicine

Hive Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Geriatric Medicine to join our team in Australia.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing comprehensive care to elderly patients with complex health needs.

As a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing the healthcare of older adults, while integrating care with other multidisciplinary team members.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage the healthcare of older adults.
  • Integrate care with other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Eligible for registration by the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency medicine or equivalent.
  • Possess substantial postgraduate medical experience in emergency medicine and hospital practice.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in rural area medicine.
  • Significant experience in rural and remote emergency medicine or retrieval services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues within a cross-cultural environment, particularly Aboriginal people.
