Network Engineer at Optiver

Our engineers design infrastructure for trading and non-trading activities including office networks and WAN environments. They provide reliable fast well-supported network and Unix platforms for core business operations requiring good understanding of technical network problems and broader business issues.

This team succeeds when collaborating and solving complex problems with simple solutions constantly optimizing reliability capacity scalability and latency.

  • Support end-to-end infrastructure deployments in Asia Pacific data centers including network security platforms.
  • Build manage and support international LAN/WAN & security environments.
  • Drive research innovation and implementation of infrastructure capacity and reliability optimizations.
  • Collaborate with developers researchers and hardware engineers on projects requiring stable scalable platforms.
  • Automate monitor and benchmark various networks and systems.
Requirements

We're looking for senior network engineers or architects with 10+ years of experience designing implementing and troubleshooting complex LANs and WANs.

  • Design implement and support Campus LAN networks ideally on Arista and Cisco products.
  • Experience working in multi-zone multi-tier firewall architectures across APAC.
  • Design implement and support DC environments.
  • Administrate Unix systems.
  • Monitor and manage diverse international WAN networks.
