About the Role
Tetra Tech Coffey is a leading provider of engineering and environmental consulting services in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our specialist Site Assessment and Remediation Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the delivery of large, contaminated land projects
- Coach and provide technical development for the team
- Build key client relationships and work with our Practice Leader and Principals to identify and pursue new growth opportunities
- Manage and prepare technical content in reports, proposals, and correspondence
- Engage with a range of Western Australian government departments and regulators
- Collaborate with our contaminated land project managers and specialists across Australia for technical input on major projects
About You
We welcome candidates with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology and/or Hydrogeology
- 10+ years' experience delivering contaminated land projects, preferably within Western Australia
- Exceptional communication, report writing, and project management skills
- The ability to coach and provide technical guidance for junior staff
- Significant experience in ensuring projects are delivered safely and without risks to health or environment
- A well-developed understanding of Western Australian legislation and Standards and guidelines for contaminated land
- An existing client network as well as relationships with government departments and regulators
