This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced Mental Health Professional to take on a leadership position within our multidisciplinary team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services, leading by example, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of multidisciplinary clinicians to ensure the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes and patient experiences
  • Promote continuous quality improvement through identification and addressing of barriers to effective care
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff, in collaboration with the Allied Health Manager
  • Foster a culture of professional development and supervision, facilitating training and education opportunities for team members
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across inpatient and outpatient settings, demonstrating expertise in psychoeducation and skills-based sessions
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals

In this critical leadership role, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our mental health services, leveraging your expertise to drive positive change and improve patient outcomes.

About You:
  • A recognised qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Mental Health Nursing, complemented by at least 10 years of clinical experience in the mental health sector
  • Proven leadership abilities, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong risk assessment and safety planning capabilities, combined with exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously, while also contributing effectively to multidisciplinary team meetings
