Job Title: Experienced Oncology Nurse
Our Clinical Trials Unit is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Trial Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to make a meaningful contribution to cancer research.
As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will work closely with patients and their families, coordinating cutting-edge clinical trials that give regional patients access to the latest in cancer care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of cancer research, working in an outpatient hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of patients participating in Oncology and Haematology Clinical trials
- Ensure research is conducted in accordance with protocols, ethical requirements and guidelines for Good Clinical Practice
- Practice and promote safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures
Requirements:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who has experience in oncology and haematology, with a strong background in research and clinical trials. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
