Job Overview

The role of an Electrical Apprentice involves working on various fire protection systems and equipment. We seek a skilled technician with experience in servicing fire alarm systems, testing fire protection systems, and programming fire panels and cabling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Survey customer premises to recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment
  • Identify, test, service, and repair fire protection, safety systems, and equipment
  • Complete maintenance records using handheld technology
  • Inspect, test, and maintain fixed fire systems, including fire indicator panels
  • Establish strong client relationships
  • Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Maintain industry knowledge and monitor market developments
About the Role
  • Experience as a Fire Technician with sound knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment
  • Electrical 'A' Grade licence and EHAL advantageous; Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) accreditation and Cabling licence preferred
  • Unrestricted work rights and Current Driver's licence required
  • Able to work autonomously and effectively in a team
  • Strong prioritizing skills and meeting deadlines
  • Superb attitude and willingness to deliver for the customer and team
