Main Responsibilities
  • Community outreach and education on fire prevention and safety for school children, senior citizens and local businesses
  • Responding to emergency situations such as fires and motor vehicle accidents
  • Collaboration with other emergency services such as Ambulance, Police and Rural Fire Service
Key Requirements
  • A valid driver's license (P1)
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
  • Living and/or working within a reasonable distance of the fire station
Training and Support

Ongoing training is provided in firefighting and rescue techniques, covering basic life support, rope work, power tool usage and community engagement skills.
