Job Role Overview:

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills in propeller system repair and overhaul.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learns to perform inspections, repairs, and overhauls of propeller systems.
  • Develops knowledge of technical instructions and assistance provided to customers within formal technical documents.
  • Undertakes on-the-job training to learn about technical publications and propeller repairs.
  • Develops knowledge of applicable product lines and aftermarket contractual obligations.
  • Learns administrative functions, including writing technical reports, ordering materials, supporting quotations, and capturing sales and cost avoidance opportunities.
  • Maintains strong environmental, health, and safety requirements aligned with company standards.
  • Utilizes provided tools to track and maintain customer queries to closure.
  • Undertakes training as required to complete competencies for Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical Workshop).
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of site quality, safety management, and EH&S policies and other compliance requirements.
  • Assists and works with team members to ensure efficient workflow through the workshop.
  • Participates as a member of the workshop team, contributing to discussions about matters of importance and making suggestions to improve team performance.
  • May be required to obtain an Australian Defence Force Security Clearance.
  • Other duties as required.
