Our mission is to shape the future of cyber and technology risk management in the insurance industry. We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Associate - Cyber and Technology Risk.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clients, helping them understand and manage complex risks associated with cyber, technology and data. By securing tailored risk and insurance solutions, you will play a key part in protecting their operations and supporting their growth.

We combine strategic consulting, risk management and data-driven insights to offer a comprehensive service. Our approach goes beyond traditional placement, focusing on delivering outstanding client services supported by deep market insight and strong placement capabilities.

This is a fast-moving and constantly evolving industry, where you will have the chance to build your reputation as a trusted broker and risk adviser. You will be involved in client engagement, insurance placement and advisory work, while developing deep knowledge across cyber risk management, regulatory and legal risks, emerging technologies, and data governance.

The Role
  • Risk Management Expertise: Helping clients understand critical technology risks and their needs across risk consulting, advisory and insurance placement.
  • Key Resource: Functioning as a key resource on cyber and technology accounts within the practice by participating in strategic planning, technical subject matter expertise, administrative assistance, and claims processes.
  • Complex Programs Placement: Supporting the placement of large, complex programs in the financial lines marketplace.
  • Thought Leadership: Publication of thought leadership, articles and participation in third party conferences and educational events run by the team.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and support pipeline, prospects and financial reporting.

Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in cyber, technology risk, insurance and the law, or a willingness to learn about these areas.
  • Risk Management Skills: A good understanding of risk management, insurance claims or broking.
  • Collaboration: Display the right attitude, work ethic, passion and collaborative behaviours.
  • Educational Background: Undergraduate degree in Law, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Business/Commerce, or Diploma in Finance, Broking, Business, Marketing, or Media.
  • Research Skills: Foundational research skills.
  • Leadership: Someone who takes initiative and is a proactive learner.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Pressure Handling: The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive approach.
