Job Opportunity

  • About the Role

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our faculty in the field of engineering, computing and the environment.

  • Key Responsibilities

You will develop computational solutions using machine learning approaches to analyze chemical data.

You will integrate these solutions into Python-based software tailored for use by analytical chemists in both field and laboratory settings.

You will prepare and present work for regular project meetings with the research team.

You will contribute to the preparation of research outputs, including reports and publications.

  • Requirements

You will have a postgraduate qualification in Data Science or a closely related discipline.

You will have relevant research experience and an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or an appropriate Engineering discipline.

You will have experience in advanced Python programming and ability to design intuitive user interfaces and data visualisations.

You will be willing to travel and write reports and research publications.
