Job Title: Paediatric Hepatologist

We are seeking a skilled paediatric hepatologist to provide high-level specialist services in a tertiary/quaternary setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality, safe and family centred care within the hospital.

About the Role:

The paediatric hepatologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with liver disease. This will include diagnosis, treatment and management of complex cases. The role will also involve collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level specialist services in paediatric hepatology
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Completion of fellowship training in paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Professional membership with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
