Wok Chef Job Opportunity

Elevate your culinary career to new heights.

We are seeking experienced Wok Chefs to join our team on a full-time basis at Perth Airport.

If you have a strong background in multi-function high-end venues and experience producing consistent, high-quality culinary items, we want to hear from you

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Be an expert in wok-based dishes, cooking methods, taste, and quality.
  • Prepare and produce traditional Asian-style cuisines for passengers.
  • Assist the team to prepare meals daily for customers.
  • Stock control & minimize food wastage.
  • Clean & maintain a hygienic work environment.
  • Follow menu specifications as well as all Australian Food Safety / HACCP, Work Health Safety & QSAI policies.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in wok-based dishes.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and procedures.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Wok Chef to join our team at Perth Airport. As a Wok Chef, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation in our kitchens. You will work closely with the Sous Chefs to plan, develop, and cost menus. Occasionally, you will advise clients on requirements, specialty ingredients, and specific menu orders related to Asian menus and wok-based dishes.
