Job Title: Mechanical Technician

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

About the Role:
  • We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, including hydraulics, transmissions, and undercarriage systems.
  • They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • In addition, they will be required to carry out site work as needed and work autonomously when required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, including hydraulics, transmissions, and undercarriage systems.
  • Quality control and assurance of all work completed.
  • Assembly and overhaul of undercarriage and final drive components.
  • General workshop duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications obtained in a workshop environment with sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Experience in rebuilding and repairing hydraulic components, transmissions, and undercarriage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Focused on quality work and customer service excellence.
  • Commitment towards safe work practices.
  • Flexible and willingness to carry out site work as required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
