Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Tendering & Marketing

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Davies Stewart. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through strategic planning, tender processes, and effective marketing and communication strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Tenders and Marketing team, overseeing the tendering process, refining best practices, and implementing technologies to improve tendering collateral and submission quality. You will work closely with the Managing Director and Executive General Managers to foster and promote the expansion of McMahon's Customer Streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tendering:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand visibility and market penetration through media channels and direct to the customer.
  • Oversee and refine the tendering process, enhancing accuracy, consistency, and impact across the organisation.
  • Craft and manage strategic communications that reflect our aspirations and align with customer values and expectations, enhancing engagement and support from key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of tendering and bid management, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications role, marketing manager or related disciplines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
