Personal Care Assistant Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, ensuring their physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs are met.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and communicate effectively with the care team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication unit of competency and experience assisting with medication.
  • An empathetic and caring approach to providing high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
