Senior Town Planner

Our client, a reputable residential development company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join their development project team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are approved and meeting the company's ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research current urban issues and develop strategies to address them
• Stay up-to-date on local and national building ordinances and codes
• Prepare detailed reports and plans for rural development proposals
• Meet with local council members to discuss proposals and negotiate approvals
• Lodge Development and Modification Applications
• Manage relationships with local councils and agencies
• Assist with Land & Environment Court appeals

Requirements:

• Formal Town Planning qualifications
• At least 3 years of Town Planning experience, preferably with a private developer, consultancy, local or state government in NSW
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in statutory planning and the NSW planning system
