Job Description

This Clinical Support role requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our residential team at HammondCare Horsley.

As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with the management of the home and carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional accountability and responsibility in line with registration requirements as a RN qualified and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Advise and support care delivery, educate and mentor staff, and contribute to case management and clinical decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team to deliver person-centred, relationship-focused care that prioritises resident needs.
  • Implement and support a resident comfort focus, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Requirements

  • Flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends.
  • Value teamwork but also able to work independently and show initiative.
  • Knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
  • Genuine passion for serving elderly people & desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • Strong Admin and computer skills.
  • Current AHPRA rego with ideally 2-3 years' experience in an Aged Care setting.
